This innovative project group aims at demonstrating the societal and economic benefits of involving citizens in environmental decision making and cooperative planning, supporting Europe’s leading role in integrating citizen science and building resilient communities. Together, these projects will empower and enable citizens to become the ‘eyes’ of the policy makers and to complement existing environmental monitoring systems.
